to attend. Children from P3 up may join the choir.

PARK BLOWLING CLUB
re-opens for the new season on Monday 6th Sept at
8pm. It is important that all those intending to play
this season come on Monday night as the matches on
the fixture list start on Monday 13th Sept. and teams
need to be sorted. Anyone who would like to know more
about the game is very welcome to come along on Monday
night. Male and female members welcome. This is a
good sport for the winter months as the season runs
from September to March.

The Northern Ireland
Children’s Charity TUESDAY’S CHILD is
coordinating a free air-life of humanitarian aid for
the flood victims of Pakistan. We need the following

Parent & Toddler Group we are currently
seeking a person to run a Parent & Toddler Group
one or two mornings a week. The post will involve
organizing the group and providing activities for
both parents and children to participate in. Anyone

Walking Group – anyone interested in joining
a walking group 2 mornings per week (Tuesday and Thursday)
at 10am please contact Karen on 77781876. The group
will start off with short walks of 15-30 minutes and
in time progress to longer walks.

the 2011 calendar is ‘Beautiful Banagher’.

Awards for All – Healthy Minds
Project we have been awarded funding for Healthy Minds
project which will start in September 2010. This aims
to address issues such as Stress, depression and isolation
within the village. It is open to all members of the
community and will involve a range of sessions inc
information, counseling, alternative therapies, outdoor
pursuits, hobby gardening/vegetable growing, beginners
golf and hill walking. Participants can pick the activities

Summer Scheme
Once again we have had a very
successful summer scheme. The programme was funded
by Children in Need, Limavady Borough Council and
Limavady Volunteer Centre. Thanks to our group leaders
Ann O’Brien and Nikki Kerlin for giving up their
time and also to our volunteers Caoimhe Crossan, Sean
Conway, Sharon Logue, Ellen McDermott, Roisin Lynch,
Ashling O’Neill and to all the parents who helped
out throughout the scheme. Thanks also to all the
children and young people who took part – their
participation in all activities and their behaviour
at all times was excellent. A credit to their parents
and to the Feeny Community.
FOYLE HOSPICE offer
free adult counseling service on Tuesdays
to help support those with a life limiting illness
and their families/carers. Counselling is also available
for the bereaved and there is a children’s bereavement
